The summer, so far, has been really good here in Maine. We did have a few days of heat and humidity, but the breeze from the coast cooled things off a bit. I've been quite busy with my job as Property Manager of the Cottage as we've been booked solid until October! We still have two weeks available in October, if you'd like to do a bit of leaf peeping, which is usually very colorful in October.
However, there is so much to see and do here and there's just not enough time to see and enjoy everything this beautiful State has to offer. For instance:
You have surely heard of the giant trolls taking over the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, right? These giant wooden structures are an amazing addition to an already incredible garden. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is one of the most beautiful gardens in Maine. With fun things to do with the kids to amazing scenery. But did you know that there is a cafe hidden within the walls of this enchanted garden?
It is so much better! The trolls will really bring in a crowd and for good reason. These towering creatures take a little bit of hiking and map-reading to find. If you come for the trolls, you are sure to have a great time.
